The Sparky brand produces quality hand-held electric tools. Of course, it does not belong to a professional tool, but if you have purchased a tool of this brand, you can be sure that it will serve faithfully for many years. The Sparky line includes a light and powerful enough for its size electric planer SPARKY P 160. This tool has a 450 W motor, which is not much in principle, however, given that the planing depth of this planer is 1.5 mm, this is quite enough to obtain a high-quality processed surfaces. Due to the fact that the frequency of rotation of the drum with knives is 16,000 rpm, the surface of the wood is smooth and does not require additional processing with abrasive materials.

The blade width of the SPARKY P 160 planer is only 60 mm, which in principle is quite small, and in building construction this is often not enough, since it is often necessary to process boards with a width of 100 - 150 mm. The outer case of this model, like most inexpensive planers, is made of plastic. The main handle has a special rubber pad that will not allow your hand to slip on a hot day.
If you need to remove the case due to a breakdown, you can do this with a Phillips screwdriver - you just need to unscrew all the mounting bolts.
