The STURM RH2550 perforator is a small model for the perforator class, which is quite suitable for home use. That is, sometimes drilling a few holes in the walls in order to hang curtains or cabinets, and even for small construction, if there is no work to be done on durable reinforced concrete, it will be enough.
The motor power of the STURM RH2550 rotary hammer is small, only 550 watts. If we compare it with Russian high-power electric drills, then it will even be inferior to many. But as they say, a hammer drill is still not a drill with a hammer drilling function and is much better suited for drilling stone materials.
The impact energy of the drill of this perforator is 2 J, and the maximum hole size when drilling with a drill is up to 20 mm. By the way, the impact energy is quite small, and if you have to drill concrete with a drill more than 6 mm, then a lot of effort will have to be applied.
If we consider this hammer for significant work on concrete, then this model should not be chosen. But as a home tool, a quite good and inexpensive hammer drill is quite good. It will cope with several holes in almost any wall material.

The handle is installed under the cartridge vertically down. Although if you are comfortable drilling with the handle on the side, you can easily turn it by slightly loosening the fastener and tightening it again to the desired position of the handle. Concrete drills are, of course, more of a marketing ploy, since they are not of high quality and similar drills in the store cost quite a bit.
This hammer model is not designed to work only in impact mode.

For long drilling, the handle of the tool has a start button lock, which allows you not to keep your finger constantly to supply electricity to the engine. The start button lock is located on the side surface of the handle and it is convenient to fix it with your thumb.
The drilling mode switch is located on the side surface of the body next to the sticker on which the model of the rotary hammer is written. Switch of the usual rotary type "flag". To switch modes, just turn it in a special groove. Switching modes during drilling is not worth it - you can break the tool.
